COMPASSIONATE HOSPICE CARE SINCE 1989
Doug’s House is a five-bedroom residential hospice and recuperative care facility for people with HIV.
NO ONE IS TURNED AWAY FOR INABILITY TO PAY.
History
Doug’s House opened in 1989 as the first residential hospice for people living with HIV in Central Texas. Its mission has evolved to include short-term intensive care as the needs of people with HIV have changed. It is still the only HIV hospice facility in Central Texas.
