More Ways to Give
Workplace Giving
Many Austin area employers make it easy to set up charitable gifts as payroll deductions, and some will even match your gift dollar for dollar! PT currently receives regular contributions from employees at IBM and more. Ask your company about their employee giving opportunities!
Shop for a Cause
Donate your unwanted antiques and collectibles to Top Drawer Thrift; They’ll sell your item and donate every dollar earned to Project Transitions. You’re old items will get a new loving home and help provide home, health, and hope for Austin’s medically vulnerable!
Amazon Smile
If you already shop on Amazon, why not turn your purchase into a charitable donation? If you select Project Transitions as your organization of choice through Amazon Smile, a percentage of each purchase will support housing and care for people living with HIV in Austin – at no extra cost to you.
If your business is interested in including Project Transitions in your charitable giving program, please contact us.
Planned Giving & Bequests
Planned giving is one of the most meaningful philanthropic commitments one can make. A bequest to Project Transitions creates a legacy of community health, and we are deeply honored by these contributions. Please contact us to learn more.
Community
Fundraisers
There’s power in numbers. One of the best ways to make a difference for our residents is by hosting an event or fundraiser. Gather your friends, family, and neighbors to show your support for community health. Giving together can exponentially increase your impact. Plus, everything’s better with friends!
Advocates of Project Transitions have thrown all sorts and sizes of unique events benefiting our programs, from private dinner parties to online crowdfunding.
Here are just a few ways you can engage your community:
ONLINE
Online crowdfunding is a great way to raise funds and spread the word about our mission. If you’re on Facebook you can easily set up your own online fundraising campaign. This is a great idea if you are celebrating a birthday or other milestone and want an easy way to suggest friends and family support your favorite cause in lieu of tradition gifts.
HOST A PARTY
Hosting a dinner party, holiday party, neighborhood barbecue, or other fundraising event is a great way to gather friends and family in support of Project Transitions. Ask us how we can support you and help make your next fundraiser a success!
GIVING HOLIDAYS
Giving days are a way for entire communities to rally support for great causes on the local, national and global level. Locally, Project Transitions participates each year in Amplify Austin Day, Austin’s annual day of giving.
