Leah Baker Named Executive Director

On July 27, the Board of Directors voted unanimously to name Leah Baker the permanent Executive Director of Project Transitions.

Baker is a Dallas native who graduated with honors from Texas State University. She started her career in property management, eventually pivoting to the senior care industry in 2016 before joining PT’s staff in 2022 as Interim Executive Director.

“Leah came on as Interim Executive Director last year, and has successfully navigated the organization through a time of great transition,” says Tony West, the Chair of the Board of Director of Project Transitions. 

“In less than a year, she has overseen the opening of one facilty, the sale of another, and the start of construction on a third — a trial by fire that has given the Board great confidence in her leadership.”
